Mock Interviews at Lansdowne School (Brixton)

Activity Details:

In this session, we will be offering all students at this Lambeth special needs school an equal chance to practice skills gained in a workshop that will be delivered the week before around communication and interview skills, by completing a mock interview with an external volunteer.

This will help students gain confidence speaking with people outside of their family and school communities, a really important step for any young person but especially for special needs young people.

Resources and training will be provided to help volunteers feel more confident communicating with those whose communication skills range. You will complete multiple short interviews.

This is part of a programme where we will offer the young people group visits to a business as well as individual work experience, so you’ll be helping them start this journey.
