Spark! coordinates a vast array of activities that bring together the local business community, educational organisations and young people.  We are working with a growing number of schools across west London, and beyond, and we have been designated by the Hounslow Education Improvement Partnership (EiP) 14-19 Strategic Group as the lead agency for education-employer engagement across London Borough of Hounslow.

Spark! develops a bespoke programme for each school to assist in delivering their work-related learning and work-based learning priorities.

Our range of approaches, developed in conjunction with our business and community partners, is targeted at secondary schools, as well as colleges.  We deliver three key services to schools and colleges, helping them deliver a robust career strategy and meet the Gatsby Benchmarks:

• Employability skills and career workshops – we lead hundreds of events a year, including our cutting edge employability and enterprise skills programme, 'Kickstart Express' which includes speed networking and mock interview activities with local employers.
• Work Experience placements & internships – we facilitate thousands of placements a year, from Industry Insight Days to extended work experience opportunities and Internships.
• Career mentoring - we connect students with career professionals, for a one-to-one relationship, in which they learn how to set and achieve goals, and develop real-world employability skills such as CV writing and interview skills.

All members of Spark! staff and our specialist third-party contractors are DBS checked.
