CONNECT mentoring programme - Kinza

Kinza, a Year 12 student, took part in our CONNECT Mentoring scheme in 2018.

"Before joining the CONNECT program I was sort of lost and didn't have a much of a clue of what I wanted to do after I finished school. I had a small idea and my mentor helped me figure out what I really wanted to do and this wasn't just by telling me my options, she really helped me figure out who I was, my strengths, my weaknesses and how I could over come those and make the most of the opportunities that I have offered to me. Rachel also helped boost my confidence a lot and I will be forever grateful for this opportunity that was given to me."

Kinza spent a day at a local hotel, and is now working there part time while studying Accounting and Management at a local university.
